We encourage you to consider joining ARS Victoria if you are wanting to gain a deeper knowledge of Rhododendrons. As a group we have a wealth of information on Asiatic and Melanesian species and hybrids and the conditions that would suit specific rhododendron in the diverse environmental and climatic conditions found in Australia.
Members have access to plants that the society propagates, which includes species no longer being able to be imported, with a repository of rhododendrons growing in the Dandenong Ranges Botanic Garden(DBRG) in Olinda which is where we reside and maintain the collection that was started by the society in 1960.
